Hi there....if you are new to Dubai or just looking to make some new friends then you have come to the right place!

Its really hard coming to a new city and starting a new life so The Bridgets was started to help working woman broaden their social networks. We have all had to leave friends and family back home so by organising a few events each month we hope to put you in contact with some great new people.....so no more shopping trips or cups of coffee on your own!




This site offers a members only forum and our aim is to put you into contact with like-  minded people so not all events have to be formally organised. If you have an interest in.... horse riding, spa treatments, fencing, hiking, Japanese food, whatever.... throw it out on the chat board. Lots of things are more fun when you have someone to do it with.

Most of the site is members only access so once you join up with us you will receive a user name and password to get you in. Please see the 'Fine Print" below for more details.

Girls Night Out...

Whether you are thinking about joining or you are already a member make sure you come along to our Welcome Drinks. They are held at Barasti at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi at 7.30pm on the first Wednesday of every month.

Great Activities......to get you started

Check out the Arty Bridgets page - Debbie Rooke has some great ideas of arty things to do that cover everyones tastes. If you want to get a group together just put a call out to the Bridgets on the forum and arrange a date to get together!








For the Adventure Bridgets Julie Amer from Mountain High has put together a fantastic weekend dhow cruises up in Musandam for dates in April and May. It’s a great chance to escape for a few days before the weather gets too hot.

The fine print…….

Membership cost is 500DHS - this is a one off cost, so you will have membership for life! Not much considering all of the perks with becoming a Bridget. You will receive a membership cards which will entitle you to discounts from Ginseng (50%) at Wafi Mall, and Every Lounge (20% on Wednesdays) at Mall of Emirates. Also the 20% discount at Barasti at our Welcome Drinks.
